Eyes On WWE: 6 Greatest Wrestlers To Never Win The WWE Title

By @TrueGodImmortal

Today, we wanted to take a look at the greatest wrestlers to set foot in a WWE ring, but they just couldn't walk away with a title run. All of these men are legends, but for some reason, the WWE Title seemed to escape them through the years. Let's take a look at six of the best who never managed to win a World championship in the WWF/WWE.

6. Razor Ramon

-The Bad Guy, Razor Ramon was truly deprived of a chance to be the man in the WWE. He was one of the most over wrestlers on the roster through his tenure and when he should have been winning world titles, he was feuding with Goldust, Diesel, 1-2-3 Kid, and holding the Intercontinental Title. He's a great IC Champ, but he definitely deserved a title run.

5. Owen Hart

-It's a shame that the overall most talented Hart brother (I said it) didn't get a title run, but for some reason, Owen wasn't as marketable as Bret. Owen was a better heel, a better talker, and nearly equal to his brother in the ring, but aside from a small feud against Bret in 1994, Owen never got the shot to carry the World Title. He deserved at least one run.

4. Ted Dibiase

-The Million Dollar Man is one of the most surprising names to never win a championship. He was close to winning it at Wrestlemania 4 before Randy Savage defeated him in the Finals for the vacant title, but the biggest title feud was missed out on in 1990 as Dibiase vs Hogan could have drawn big money and put Dibiase over the top as a legend. I always felt that Dibiase winning the title from Warrior and being champion heading into Wrestlemania 7 would have been a much better feud and match than what both men had. It's a shame Dibiase never got one title run.

3. William Regal

-Though he wasn't the big money draw that people would have expected him to be, the truth be told, Regal deserved a short term title reign to give him a shot at carrying the torch. He was a great character, a great wrestler, and his facial expressions helped make his promos even better. Regal is a legend in the business and in my opinion, a WWE Title or World Heavyweight Title run during his Smackdown days would have been great.

2. Jake "The Snake" Roberts

-The most sinister star in the WWF at one point, Jake Roberts is a legend and once again, during the Hogan era, he would have been a prime time heel feud for the title. His demons might be a big reason why he never won the title, but the fact remains, the WWF should have pulled the trigger once on a Jake title run. Jake vs Hogan or Jake vs Savage for the title would have been money, and I would have loved to see the culmination of a Jake Roberts vs Ultimate Warrior feud for the WWF Title.

1. Mr. Perfect

-The best to never win the WWE Title. Period. These days, WWE decidedly gives title reigns to just about anyone (Jinder Mahal is a WWE Champion.... but not these guys....), but Mr. Perfect was robbed of a title run. 1990 was the year. He was a prime heel and easily one of the best wrestlers then. It was the Ultimate Warrior and Hogan show then, but Perfect would have been the smartest choice for champion without question. It's a shame he didn't get a run in WCW either, and if he would have stayed healthy during his return to WWE, a week long or month long reign could have been possible in 2002. Unfortunately, his story didn't end that way. It's a shame that we never saw a Perfect title reign, because the business deserved one.

Eyes On WWE: 5 Wrestlers That Need A WWE Documentary

By @Phranchize19

WWE usually drops documentaries on great legends or their current top stars. While I am a huge fan of these (I usually get them when they come out), WWE has missed out on some documentaries that many great wrestling fans would want to see. I'm going to list the 5 I think WWE has to come out with. Keep in mind I'm not doing current top stars such as Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose as I'm sure we will get their documentaries at a later date, nor legends like Kurt Angle who has a DVD set already in the works.

*Ted DiBiase

-By far the longest overdue DVD set. DiBiase was one of the top heels in all of wrestling and a tremendous in ring competitor. DiBiase has had great matches that don't get discussed enough and a legacy of being one of the only guys that was in the limelight during the Hogan era.

*Ravishing Rick Rude

-Probably one of the most gifted athletes ever, Rick Rude had the charisma and the talent. I've always wanted to hear his story being told as I've heard some great yet hilarious things about him. Rude’s career in both WWE and WCW has classic matches so I expect this will drop soon since he was inducted into the Hall of Fame.

*Psycho Sid

-A guy from Memphis who made it to 2 Wrestlemania main events. Sid was quite the polarizing figure so I am quite intrigued as to what a documentary on him would consist of. With his career in promotions in Memphis, WCW and WWE, I would expect a lot of content to be on a DVD such as this.

*Goldust

-Can you imagine a DVD set with Dustin Runnels? With the issues he had with his father as well as a failed marriage and many other personal problems, a Goldust DVD set would be pure gold (pun intended) and the match selection on there would come from both his time as the Natural and his over 20 year WWE career.

*British Bulldog

Probably the best wrestler on this list. Bulldog doesn't get nearly enough credit for his contributions to wrestling. Bulldog was one of the best ever and he proved it day in and day out. A consummate professional who always did what was asked of him a set with bulldog is long overdue.
There are so many others to list but these are the 5 that I think truly fit and should get a DVD.

EOTR Tag Team Tuesdays: Money Inc.

By @AmeenKnows

Great gimmicks go together like Peanut Butter and Jelly. Okay, well maybe an evil tax Accountant isn't a really good gimmick but money and money go together perfectly. On one side, you have the snobbish Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase and on the other side, you have I.R.S., the evil tax accountant. Both are money themed gimmicks so it's only common sense to put them together.

DiBiase was known for paying other wrestlers and officials to do his dirty work, so he comes up with the genius idea to pay off Jimmy Hart, who at the time was managing The Natural Disasters, for a tag team title shot that belonged to the Disasters. Obnoxious rich man, a federal tax agent and a manager who never shuts up and now you have a potential legendary team. So with their newly bought title shot, Money Inc defeats L.O.D. for the World tag team titles at a house show in Denver. The Disasters fired Hart as their manager and feuded with Money Inc over the titles, but were unsuccessful in multiple attempts. At SummerSlam 1992, Money Inc. was defeated by L.O.D for the World Tag Team titles. However 2 months later, Money Inc. would regain the titles with help from the Headshrinkers, to beat their rivals The Natural Disasters.

By February, Money Inc. was facing some tension with manager Jimmy Hart. After beating down a helpless Brutus Beefcake, Hart stepped in to protect Beefcake thus confirming his split from the group. Hulk Hogan would return and form The Mega Maniacs with Beefcake and Hart became their manager. At Wrestlemania Money Inc. escaped with their Tag Team titles after a reversed decision. They moved on to a feud with the Steiner Brothers who defeated them for the World Tag Team Championship. Two days later, Money Inc. regained the belts but dropped them again three days later to the Steiners. After failing to regain the Tag Team Titles, the team disbanded after DiBiase's feud with Razor Ramon so DiBiase could take time off. They later would reunite together in the Million Dollar Corporation.

This team doesn't really wow me in the ring but what I love is how well their characters blend together. They did have some weaker feuds with the Disasters and Nasty Boys, but they proved far and away that they couldn't be touched in both feuds. It worked so well with IRS as the heavy hitter, DiBiase as the heavy talker and Hart as the Flavor Flav to Money Inc's Public Enemy. Buying a title shot and actually winning was a genius move by creative. What I will say is that WWE obviously learned a valuable lesson from this and put together another good team with similar characters in The Fashion Police but only time will tell if they will surpass these guys. We shall see.
