RAW Preview 12/1/14

Hey all, Speed on the Beat here with some thoughts about tonight's edition of RAW. Now, first and foremost, I'd love to see the A New Day stable come out on some "Hands Up, Don't Shoot" stuff (since WWE loves to claim it has its finger on the pulse of hot-button issues and is a biting piece of social commentary), but instead we'll probably get Xavier, Kofi, and Big E coming out like the Christian Hip-Hop Wrestling Version of the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. At least they're not shuckin' and jivin' (yet), right?

...right?!

Anyhow, now that that piece of social commentary is out the way, tonight's edition of RAW comes as somewhat of a precursor to the Stone Cold/Vince McMahon podcast airing on the Network tonight. It's also coming a week into another new day--the Post-Authority era. With that in mind, here are some things we can probably expect.

1) We won't hear anything about CM Punk. As an aside, his t-shirts are pretty cool; especially digging how he brought back the "Welcome to Chicago Motherf***er" mantra. Wonder if this was part of his dealings with WWE, that he could start his own...Pro...Wrestling...Tees site?

Return...imminent, right?

2) Ziggler will be built up, hopefully not to be torn down again. Last week, Dolph Ziggler was the sole survivor of the Cena/Authority match (with a little help from THE STINGER!!!). I'd expect his momentum to continue, possibly with some more Cena leechi--I mean, "pairing" (yawn). Seriously, it really sucks that the only person to give a rub in WWE is Cena. This is why WWE needs to create more stars and not build-a-star, create-a-wrestlers either. Daniel Bryan is there (whenever he returns), Ambrose is almost there (unless he completely loses his command on the mic), Rollins is there, Ziggler is getting back there, and (for the sake of argument) Roman Reigns is getting there as well. It's good that we're getting new stars. I just wish they didn't all have to go through Cena. But, he's the number one guy, for better or worse.

Let's hope this isn't what's really going to happen with Dolph.

3) Something about The Rose Bunny. I'm surprisingly not as irked by this feud as I thought I'd be. It's low-card comedy. It's allowing Adam Rose to show more range in his character and gets him back to his Leo Kruger ways (kind of). Plus, the Bunny, while taking up a couple minutes a show, isn't taking up that much valuable time. I just hope the reveal ends up being someone that'll get a "holy s***" reaction. And, no, conspiracy theorists, it's not Punk.

4) A.J. Lee will respond to The Bella Twins. Look, I like A.J. Lee. I like parts of The Bella Twins (sorry for sounding sexist, but they still don't do much for me, wrestling-wise). But, for the past year, the Divas division has been dominated by two storylines: A.J. vs. Paige and Brie vs. Nikki. Now that they've coincided (it was inevitable), the resulting feud has been boring, to say the least.

5) There will be hype for the Stone Cold/Vince video podcast. We may get a Stone Cold appearance of some sort, if you believe the websites.

6) Bray Wyatt and Dean Ambrose will continue their feud. It's brought us great moments. But I find myself not really caring about the why in this feud, more so the "how are they gonna beat the crap out of each other now?"

7) A slew of other stuff that I honestly don't care about at the moment. Make me care, WWE. Make. Me. CARE!

So, that about does it for me. Keep your eyes on the ring and your nose away from candy.

A Thank You Letter from @YourBuddyCJ

Professional wrestling has always been here for me. I grew up as a very lonely kid. All through school, from elementary through high school, I was always shunned. Kiss didn't want to be around me because of how I looked, or how I talked. They didn't like that I had to get my clothes from salvation army, or that I would hide in the bathroom at lunch so they wouldn't make fun of me. The one constant in my life has been professional wrestling.
My love for this great sport began in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1998. I was 8 years old, and I was at my grandmother's house. She lived in a rough part of town, so I wasn't allowed to go outside when we visited grandma. One night, I sat down on her couch with my dad, and my uncle was watching WCW Monday Nitro. There was this huge guy with a bald head spearing and jackhammering people. I was hooked from the moment I laid eyes on pro wrestling.

Although my parents supported me and wanted me to be happy, they never understood my passion for professional wrestling. It was all I talked about, it was all I thought about, and it caused my parents to leave me to myself, because they just couldn't get into it. The more time I spent alone, the more opportunities I had to learn everything I could about wrestling. I watched as much Raw and Nitro as I could, fully entrenched in the Monday Night Wars.

When my parents got divorced, I became more and more isolated. As hard as I tried to fit in at school, I got pushed further and further away. Whenever I felt like I had nobody to turn to, I had pro wrestling. When I couldn't be around my parents because they were too busy screaming at each other, pro wrestling was always there when I needed it.

A few years ago, when I started getting more involved in social media, I finally had a way to give back to the sport that had given me hope. The first wrestling podcast I ever heard was a show called 3 Count Radio. I instantly connected with the people on that show, because they had the same passion I had for the business, while having a real sense of humor about it at the same time. Out of the 3CR community cane a show called Answering the 10 Count. They were the first show to embrace me, and appreciated the contributions I made and the support I showed, which I still do to this day, and I will be forever grateful to those guys. As I started getting more of a twitter following, I found The Steel Cage podcast, and while going back and forth with the great guys over there, I stumbled across a guy who called himself True God.

He and I immediately connected through our love for wrestling, and he was the first guy to offer me a full-time opportunity to contribute and express myself for a wrestling site. Without the support of everyone at WrestlingHeels/Eyes on the Ring, I wouldn't have had the confidence to reach out to wrestlers that I've grown up watching. Consider this my thank you letter. Not just to all of the great men and women in the wrestling podcast world, but to every single wrestling fan with whom I've ever interacted. I have been alone for so long, and all of you have been gracious enough to take me in. Every single one of you have truly made my life better, and are the reason I have fallen in love with this amazing sport all over again. You guys have accepted me when nobody else would. I can finally look at myself in the mirror and see a happy person. For the first time in a long time, I feel like I belong to a family. You guys may not have thought it was a big deal, but it has saved my life. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you for making me feel like I belong. I owe each and every one of you a debt of gratitude. Thank you.

ROH Review for 11/29/14

Hello once again wrestling fans it is I Nathan here to provide you with your weekly dose of Honor with this weeks ROH Wrestling review.  This week was a very angle heavy show and was pretty much a one-match show to sell everyone on Final Battle, which takes place on December 7, live on Pay Per View.  Lets get on with the show shall we?

To start off the action for tonight, QT Marshall made his way out to the ring after a long absence (he wrestled a few matches in NXT under his real name but WWE realized he had zero talent so they canned him). He is now back in ROH (much to my chagrin) and he had a match tonight against Cheeseburger.

Match 1
QT Marshall vs. Cheeseburger

Result: QT Marshall defeats Cheeseburger via pinfall after catching Cheeseburger in mid air to deliver a Dominator.

Thoughts: Okay first things first, even before this match started I wasn’t all that into it.  QT is a guy that I’ve never liked and Cheeseburger is a guy that I can’t take seriously (thanks to Charlie Haas). Maybe if his name wasn’t Cheeseburger I could take him a bit more serious. Marshall started off the match by immediately taking Cheeseburger to the outside of the ring to work him over.

He then took the time to snatch a headset from one of the announcers and do his best (read: worst) imitation of The Rock. He pretty much talked about how awesome he thought he was. He also tried to make people like him, which is fine but it still doesn’t change my mind. The guy is just so plain. Yeah, he does some decent things in the ring. But, he looks like a giant mutant baby and I can’t get behind that (Ed. Note: He also looks pretty much how he did as a baby. Kind of creepy, even if he may be able to stomp mudholes in my head). The finish of the match came when Cheeseburger jumped off of the top rope and was caught by Marshall who performed a dominator to get the pinfall victory over Cheeseburger (please change his name).

Rating: *

After this match, QT gets on the microphone and says that his match for tonight was too easy. He wants real competition. This brings out ROH World Champion Jay Briscoe, who gets in the ring, setting up an impromptu match. This was bad news for me because I had to watch Marshall wrestle yet again.

Match 2QT Marshall vs. Jay Briscoe

Result: Jay Briscoe defeats QT Marshall via pinfall after a Jay Driller

Thoughts: This was a one move match, it consisted of the bell ringing and Jay Briscoe immediately hitting QT Marshall with a Jay Driller to score the pinfall victory.

Rating: N/A

After this “match,” we go to a commercial break, when we come back from break we are treated to a video package to relive BJ Whitmer’s heel turn at last year’s Final Battle when he turned his back on Eddie Edwards to join up with Jimmy Jacobs and eventually form The Decade. It was there that everyone found out that BJ Whitmer’s retirement (after legit getting injured by a pile driver on the ring apron by Michael Bennett) was a complete schmoz.

From there we get Adam Page who makes his way to the ring for the next match of the night.

Match 2 (The REAL Match 2)
Adam Page vs. Aaron Solo

Result: Adam Page defeats Aaron Solo via pinfall after a Kneeling back to belly piledriver.

Thoughts: This match was to build up Adam Page, as his opponent was pretty much filling an enhancement talent role. The match quickly goes to the outside of the ring where Adam Page throws Solo into the barricade and Solo takes it with his face (it looked bad). Page rolls Solo into the ring and hops on the apron and waits for his opponent to recover. Right as Solo makes it to his feet Page flips over the ropes and delivers a lariat to get a near fall. The finish came when Page hits a kneeling back to belly piledriver (that’s the best way I can describe the move) to score the pinfall victory. After the match, Page grabs a microphone and says that he is no longer Roderick Strong’s “Young Boy.” This immediately brings out Roderick Strong who chases Page out of the ring to the back of the arena.

Match Rating: *1/2

Back from commercial, Jay Lethal is out on commentary for the next match in order to scout Matt Sydal who is the challenger for Lethals’ Television Title at Final Battle.

Main Event – Match 3Matt Sydal vs. Adam Cole

Result: Adam Cole defeats Matt Sydal via pinfall following the Florida Key

Thoughts: This match was very good and pretty much saved this show from being a complete dud. Early on in the match, Adam Cole was down on the mat and Sydal hits a double foot stomp from off of the top rope. Sydal then hits a hurricanranna and follows it up with a spin kick to pick up a near fall.  The two men make their way to the outside of the ring where Cole throws Sydal into the barricade as we go to a commercial break.  Back from commercial we are back in the ring and Adam Cole has gained control of the match, Adam Cole executes a nice fake out making it look like he was going to do a high spot but he goes to the ground and applies a head lock on Sydal.

Adam Cole knows exactly how to be a heel—something that is truly a lost art in modern era wrestling. Later on, Sydal hits a standing moonsault on Cole for a near-fall. Adam Cole kicks out and gets Sydal to the mat where he applies a figure-four leg lock. Sydal manages to escape and the two men both make it their feet where Sydal hits a reverse hurricanranna for a near fall. Sydal makes his way to the outside of the ring and gets into it with his Final Battle opponent Jay Lethal before making his way back inside of the ring.  Meanwhile back in the ring Adam Cole catches Sydal in a German suplex to the bottom turnbuckle.   He then pulls Sydal to his feet where he hits the Florida Key which allows him to get the pinfall victory.

Match Rating: **3/4

From there Lethal attacks Sydal, Jay Briscoe attacks Cole and Tommaso Ciampa makes his way to the ring to attack Briscoe.  During all of this Sydal ascends to the top rope and manages to land face first on the outside of the ring after a shooting star press to the floor which he probably shouldn’t have done.  At least these tapings were from a while ago so he should be good to go at Final Battle.

Closing Thoughts:
This show wasn’t very wrestling heavy which I am not used to from ROH. Besides the main event, it was kind of a dud.  Though I understand that they have a pay per view on December 7th that they are building towards but it made for a very angle heavy show. Not a bad show but I expect more wrestling on this show then I got this week.  Out of this show I would definitely recommend the man event you could probably skip the rest; it just felt like filler.

That, however, will do it for me for this week’s ROH TV review. Until next time, ROH fans, I am Nathan saying so long and be sure to keep your Eyes on the Ring for some great wrestling. Also be sure and stay tuned to EOTR for all of the content that we will be providing you throughout the coming weeks.  Also please follow us on Twitter @EyesOnTheRing and of course myself @Headliner5 as well as likingour official Facebook page over at Facebook.com/EyesOnTheRing.

All Eyes On…Sexy Star

Nathan (@Headliner5) here once again to bring you yet another installment of the All Eyes On series. It wasn’t my intention to make this series part of my regular write-ups, but with all the wrestling I have been watching, I feel it’s only appropriate that I present to you the next installment of the series this time spotlighting AAA/Lucha Underground’s Sexy Star.

I have watched Sexy Star’s matches on YouTube in the past. So I was a bit familiar with her prior to the debut of Lucha Underground. But, for those of you who aren’t, this article is aimed to get you there. So, here we go with the latest All Eyes On Profile: Sexy Star.

Sexy Star
Height: 160 cm (5’3”)
Weight:57 kg (125 lbs)
From: Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico
Debut: August: 29, 2006

Okay, let’s face facts most of us probably don’t care all that much about women’s wrestling. There is a reason for that, and it’s pretty simple. In a promotion like WWE (the main promotion in which wrestling is perceived), they condition fans to not care about women’s wrestling at all. Hell, Survivor Series was last Sunday and most of us probably didn’t watch the two women’s matches that were on the card that night. WWE’s women are two have three variants as of late.
They are either:

A) crazy,
B) show lesbian/bisexual tendencies (see Paige’s recent behavior and watch the match between AJ Lee and whatever Bella she wrestled at Survivor Series; it’s only about 20 seconds, so it’s not a huge waste) or
C) are someone you aren’t supposed to care about because they don’t put ample time in developing them enough to make you invested in their character.

This brings me to the AAA-affiliated Lucha Underground promotion that launched this past October on the El Rey Network and Sexy Star.

I have been a fan of hers even before I saw her in LU. Before that was even a thing, I would watch some of her matches on YouTube. The first time I saw her I really liked what I saw.  Because she is a wrestler, fast-forward to October 29, 2014 and the debut of Lucha Underground. I was beyond thrilled that she was on their roster because that meant I got to see more of her work.

The difference between Sexy Star as opposed to your typical WWE Diva is that a young girl realistically can’t look up to any WWE Diva. I mean, sure, they could...but what kind of example would that Diva be setting for said kid? And would the parents be considered responsible for letting their children watch a product (which, at this point, is still rated PG) with loads of lesbianism included within?

Your answer to that question if you were looking for it is Lucha Underground’s Sexy Star. There are other women on the show that can be looked up to, but the most important is Sexy Star because of the message she sends.  On Star’s very first appearance on LU she talked about her troubled past which involves both abuse and depression. She said that she turned to wrestling to overcome her past and to empower herself. She also said that she hopes to inspire empowerment among all women. That’s the long and short of it.  A very simple, wholesome message that some women may relate to they make you sympathize with her right from the get go in they do it in the most honest way possible.

She will not only wrestle women within LU, but other men as well; the promotion presents both males and females as EQUAL which to me is the most important message of all. So, if you have access to the El Rey Network please go seek out Lucha Underground or go to YouTube and look for some of Sexy Star’s matches. When you do, you’ll will see exactly what a women’s wrestler is supposed to be: an empowered female that doesn’t get degraded on a week-to-week basis and one that can put on a show just as well if not better than the men.

As you can see this was a lot shorter than my previous two entries but it gives you just enough background to go and seek out some of her matches. I would highly recommend doing so. After you do, drop me a mention on Twitter at @Headliner5 and let me know what you think of her and whether or not you agree with with me.

Until next time Eyes On The Ring readers I am Nathan saying so long I hope you enjoyed the reading of this article as much as I enjoyed the writing of it. Until my next ROH Wrestling review coming up later today, keep your Eyes On The Ring and Sexy Star.

ROH Review: 11/22/14

By Nathan Neumann (@Headliner5)

Hello once again, Ring of Honor fans. Nathan here, per the usual, to give you your weekly dose of everything ROH. This week was formatted a bit weird, but I’ll get to that in a bit. We still got two solid matches with some decent time.

Survivor Series Preview with Nathan and Jon

Sunday is Survivor Series, one of the most legendary PPVs in WWE--and wrestling history. And no, not just for the Screwjob. EOTR contributors Nathan and Jon offer up their thoughts on what's going to go down this Sunday. So, without any further delay, take it away, Nathan.

Nathan: Hello, Eyes On The Ring readers. Nathan here once again along with Jon as we bring you your monthly fix of pay-per-view predictions and the like. This month, we are focusing on the 28th annual Survivor Series. Interesting fact, SS is the second longest running pay per view in WWE’s history (only behind WrestleMania). Although last year’s event was highly disappointing (and got the lowest buy rate of a PPV in 2013), 2014’s edition can be a good show--especially since it won’t take much to top last year’s show.
Jon: After the outstanding event that Hell in a Cell turned out to be I'm really excited. Nathan, I have to tell you I'm also excited because I was perfect on my Hell in a Cell predictions. So, I'm out to keep the streak going.
Nathan: Well said, Jon. I hope to do a bit better on predictions myself; I haven’t been all that great lately. I think I went 3 for 7 last month  but I honestly can’t remember (Ed. Note: Nathan went 6-2 in HIAC matches discussed). It wasn’t enough to win any prediction contests, that’s for sure.

Nikki Bella vs. AJ Lee ©
WWE Diva’s Championship Match

Jon: While the story hasn't had an exciting lead up so far I still have hopes for a decent to good match out of these two. With Brie still serving as her personal assistant doing her evil bidding, on the surface Nikki has the upper hand. But, I'm going with AJ to retain for that very reason. Brie has to exact some sort of revenge on her sister and what better way than to cost her a title.
Jon’s prediction: AJ Lee
Nathan: I haven’t been too enthused with this storyline. Quite frankly, I haven’t been that excited about anything in the Diva’s division. It’s like the writers aren’t even trying--again. They have a lot of talented women on the roster. But terrible storylines, way too short matches--and Total Divas--it makes for some cringeworthy television. I, however, am going to go with the opposite of Jon’s pick. Nikki Bella will win the title. That way, Brie and Nikki can have their blow-off match to end one of the worst storylines that the WWE has seen in YEARS.
Nathan’s prediction: Nikki Bella

Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt

Jon: Both of these guys haven't had a lot of PPV success recently. But, I'm still excited to see these two in the ring. Since HIAC, it's been Bray getting the better of Ambrose from in-ring shenanigans and backstage beatdowns. Bray will carry this momentum to a victory at Survivor Series. It will be interesting where this goes after Sunday though.
Jon’s Prediction: Bray Wyatt
Nathan: I am really looking forward to this match a lot. After Bray cost Ambrose his Hell In A Cell match with Seth Rollins, this has all of the makings of a good match. I hope the two at least have some chemistry as in ring opponents to go with it. I don’t recall them having a one-on-one match--forgive my memory being so bad, WWE Land (Ed. Note: they’ve at least had one).  This match could really go either way. But, I’m going to go with Dean Ambrose as they seem to be building him up to be one of their next big stars--and they seem to have forgotten about Bray Wyatt.  And according to WWE Logic, and multiple Twitter theorists--Wyatt doesn’t need to win in order to get his message out. But, if he keeps losing, I am going to have a hard time taking him seriously. After all, this is wrestling, and in order to succeed within it, one must win their matches.
Nathan’s Prediction: Dean Ambrose

Natalya, Alica Fox, Naomi, and Emma vs. Paige, Cameron, Summer Rae, and Layla

Jon: This was thrown on the card last minute, and I don't really care who wins because the viewers all lose. Going with the good girls Nattie, Emma, Alicia Fox and Naomi. Jon’s Prediction: Team Natalya
Nathan: First of all, I feel bad for Paige in this match. She has to be on a team with two women who can’t wrestle their way out of a paper bag--and Layla (Ed. Note: their team is, however, packing in the booty department. But, this is wrasslin’. The only way a** matters is if you’re retired, if you’re AJ/Lana apparently, or if you’re making one out of yourself. Hi Santino, get well soon). This match was a last-minute addition to the card and I’m not really looking forward to it. But, it is what it is and it got added so I’ll suffer though it. I expect this match go to all of five minutes with elimination after elimination after elimination.  I also expect it to not be that good and Natalya’s team to win. That’s about it. Nathan’s Prediction: Team Natalya

The Miz and Damien Mizdow vs. Los Matadores vs. The Usos vs. Gold and Stardust ©| Fatal Four Way match for the WWE Tag Team Championships
Jon: It's kind of sad that these four teams make up the entire tag division. The Usos are former champs--whom have received several title shots since losing to Goldust and Stardust. Los Matadores have picked up a win in singles competition against the champs, while The Miz and Mizdow have been trading wins with the Usos. Now that we are caught up with recent history, this match is a pick'em, so I'm going to go the safe route. Goldust and Stardust retain.
Jon’s Prediction: Goldust and Stardust
Nathan: This match could be good and with three teams vying against the tag team champions. Odds are that Gold and Stardust will not come out of this Sunday with the Tag Team Titles. I really like Cody Rhodes but him as Stardust is a disservice to his talent.  I was fine with it as a short term thing, but this has gone on way too long.
I am ready for Gold and Stardust to lose the titles. Why? That way, they can split up and feud, Stardust will go back to Cosmic Land, and we’ll FINALLY get Cody Rhodes back. Goldust has always wanted a WrestleMania match with Cody and maybe this is a way to start it. Or maybe, I am thinking this could happen too early. But I was raised in old-school WWE where they would actually take time to build things and let them transpire. Of course, back then, they only had four pay-per-views a year. Unfortunately, we are not in that landscape anymore. Anyway, my prediction for this match is The Miz and Damien Mizdow as your new WWE Tag Team Champions. It pains me to say that because I hate The Miz. However, Mizdow (Sandow) has been fantastic in a role that was destined to fail and he has really made something out of it. For that, they need to reward Sandow for his hard work and determination with some championship gold. This way, Sandow can finally get his first WWE Title. The guy deserves it; he is just fantastic.
Nathan’s Prediction: The Miz and Damien Sandow

Team Cena (John Cena, Ryback, Big Show, Dolph Zigger, and Erick Rowan) vs. Team Authority (Seth Rollins, Kane, Rusev, Mark Henry, and Luke Harper)
5 vs. 5 traditional Survivor Series Match: If Team Authority loses the Authority is out of power. If Team Cena loses, they are fired.
Jon: Cena’s team consists of himself, Big Show Ryback, Dolph Ziggler and Erik Rowan while The Authority has Mark Henry, New IC champ Luke Harper, U.S champ Rusev, Kane and "The Future of WWE" Seth Rollins. We have seen Cena lead teams before.  Win or loss, the careers of some talented IWC favorites change. Remember how promising Wade Barret’s career was as the leader of Nexus? That's the past. In the here and now, the future of WWE is on the line. Too much is on the line for HHH and Stephanie to lose. However, there is a new stipulation, as noted above.  Now, Nathan I don’t know what to say about this stipulation besides that it adds fuel to this match. I’ve decided to take your advice and think logically (per our Twitter conversation earlier this week). Team Cena wins. There is now no way they fire eighty percent of the baby face upper-card. Jon’s Prediction: Team Cena
Nathan: I am writing this at 2:00 AM on Monday night/Tuesday Morning four hours after RAW went off of the air. We had some interesting developments on that show.  The way these teams were filled out was a bit lazy. They could have done something different in having Cena walk around backstage all night trying to recruit people (Ed. Note: Like the old days), but that’s not how they went about things.
At the end of last week’s, show when Luke Harper (your new Intercontinental Champion by the way. YES!) joined Team Authority, I thought it was a nice twist that Erick Rowan would join Team Cena. I don’t like Rowan at all as he doesn’t impress me, but I am not--by any means--hoping he fails. I do like the fact that two former partners (Rowan and Harper) are on opposite sides.
I also like that they are centering the entire pay-per-view around this one match. It makes the Survivor Series concept feel special again. The meaning has become lost over the years  and hopefully this match’s build and execution will go a long way in re-establishing Survivor Series as a big pay per view. Survivor Series used to be one of the Big Four PPV, until it was replaced, in my opinion, with Money In The Bank. And while the prestige and lineage of the Survivor Series event is still there, it doesn’t hold as much weight as it used to.
Anyway, enough of my rambling. I feel that Team Cena will win and that The Authority will finally dissolve. They should have dissolved after Daniel Bryan dismantled the entire group during WM 30 and won the title. With Daniel Bryan out, The Authority serves no purpose, which is why it needs to go away. This win for Cena (if it happens) will be the first time in a long time where I wont complain on the internet after the match is over. The Authority needs to die. I will say that, even though I am picking The Authority to lose I have a feeling that Rusev will have a strong performance this year akin to what Roman Reigns at last year’s event. Nathan’s Prediction: Team Cena

PS: We also found out after Tuesday’s tapings for Smackdown that if Cena’s team loses, they will all be fired. I am still standing by my choice that Team Cena will win. I am ready for change and I think everyone else is as well. Not only are the WWE giving this pay-per-view away for FREE, they are essentially also giving away the result of their main event. That’s, in my opinion, not a good move because it takes out all of the intrigue to the match in the first place. But, what do I know? I’m just the one writing this article (along with Jon) and questioning some of the pre-booking scenarios.

Closing Thoughts:
That’ll do it for Jon and myself and our preview of this Sunday’s Survivor Series. As always I’m looking forward to seeing how Jon and I did on our predictions come Sunday night. I also look forward to having a good banter back and forth with everyone on Twitter.
So, until Sunday, be sure to follow Jon on Twitter at @BigJonDaLegend and also myself at @Headliner5--as well as the Eyes On The Ring Twitter feed (@EyesOnTheRing). If you have thoughts on Sunday’s event, be sure to voice your two cents. Who do you think will win? Lose? Will there be any surprises? All these questions and so much more will be answered live this Sunday.

Be sure to keep your Eyes On The Ring.
